Believe us, clearing CA Foundation would be an itsy-bitsy task if you prepare an effective study plan and follow it religiously. So planning is as important as studying and without a proper plan you will just be a nomad wandering everywhere.

STEP 1

Choose a balanced combination of the subject and study two subjects at a time. For instance, you can combine one theoretical paper with one practical paper. You can study Mercantile Law with Accounts or Mathematics with Economics. You can remake these combinations according to the requirement of the course. The best option is to start with a new subject first, i.e., Mercantile Law.

STEP 2

Allocate appropriate time to both the subjects in a combination. You may have to assign more time to the practical paper if that portion requires more practice or might have to spend more time on theoretical proportions if the concepts demand so. Hence, if you want to clear the exam in two months, allocate a minimum of 20 days to each combination and the remaining days could be used for revision.

STEP 3

Allocate at least six hours to the practical subject and three hours to the theoretical subject every day. Prepare your notes which will help you on revision days.

STEP 4

In the last 20 days, revise as much as you can. The more you revise and build a stronghold on the important topics, the more likely you are to qualifying the exam.
